Happy Birthday Pasha!
I can't wait to see you skate again, you are so passionate and
magical on the ice. You and Yevgeny were so wonderful
together, but I'm sure that no matter who you skate with (even
skating alone) that you will be just great. I can't wait to
see your acting on 90210 as well.
So have a great birthday! All of your fans are celebrating

Hi Pasha!
I hope that you had a wonderful birthday!
Thank you for being so kind to me and my husband when we met you
and Sasha at the World Pros. We took a photo of you in the
hotel lobby
and it looks very nice. I'd like to send it to you- is
there an address that you can give me? It would be easy if
your agent is in LA because I live in xxx, CA.
I hope that I'll be able to see you skating again soon!

Dear Pasha,
I hope you will have the best birthday ever! I look very
much forward to seeing more skating programs from you. You
come up with the most
interesting programs. Your "Memorial" program is
my favorite program of all time among all disciplines. Too
bad the ISU wouldn't allow you to
wear your original costume (monk outfit) for
"Memorial". Anyways I hope today you will be very
happy. Party hard!

Hi Pasha,
My name is Yvonne and I'm 20 yrs. I'm also from Canada and have
been a big fan of yours since the 1996 season. My favorite dance
that you did was Arabain passion in 1996. You are my favorite ice
dancer. Memorial made me cry when I saw it at the Olympics. You
are awsome. I have Memorial on tape as well as Arabian Passion.
I would just like to wish you a very happy 27th birthday. And may
all your dreams and wishes come true!!!!
God bless you!

Dear Pasha, I am a big fan of yours. I live in xxx, Pennsylvania,
USA.
I have been following news of you with great concern. It
seems that many
people are against you. This hurts you very much, but
you musn't let it bother you. Why do you care about
what ignorant people, who do not
even know you, think?. I think you have a lot of talent,
style, and personality.
I wish you great success in your career, and in your
life. You should hold your head up high, believe in
your self, and do what is best for you.
One word of advice: please don't talk about the past
anymore, or let your family members or friends do it.
Who cares what happened so many years ago, when you were still a
teenager? We all make mistakes in life, and none of us
would like it very much if people were still
gossiping about things from our own pasts. Anyhow please,
take care of yourself, don't explain, don't
apologise, and don't say anything bad about any other
skater! (No matter what they may say about you) Be
the classy lady that I know that you are. You go
girl! Anyhow, congratulations on your award
from the Russian Federation.
I worked very hard to translate it into English,
because I learned Russian many years ago, and I forgot a
lot. If you get a better translation from
a native Russian or from someone who knows more than I, oh
well. If you do use my translation on your webpage,
Please give me credit
and use my pseudonym: Zimte. Thank you.

Hello Pasha,
This may seem like an odd time to be asking this question, but I
haven't been able to find out the answer from anyone else so I
thought I might as
well try asking someone who really knows. How did you &
Evgeny meet? In one place I read that you were teamed up so
you could be a more competitive dance couple, which makes it
sound like the skating federation suggested that you skate
together. Somewhere else I read that neither of your
coaches wanted you to team up. So, I'm wondering how you
really met. Was it at a competition somewhere? Did
someone suggest that you would be more competitive? I
remember reading that your partner from Juniors was injured.
Also, when did you start selecting your music for
competitions? I heard that you generally suggest the music
for your programs. Did you do that
back in 90 and 91 too, or was it later?
Did Natalia Linichuk choreograph your 96 Paso Doble? I
think it is a wonderful program.
There you go. I'd better limit my curiosity.
ALWAYS a fan,
Anne

Thanks for email :0) Appreciated. Found 'Frozen' (attached) - I
found it by doing a search in AltaVista search engine:

There are a few midis to download by Madonna but I couldn't find
Memorial. Who wrote the music "Memorial"? Was it Peter
Gabriel? It was a
perfect choice for their skating.
Good luck with rest of page.

Dear Pasha,
I am also a big fan of you - I love your skating as well as you
as a person. I am curious about your real relationship with
Robert deNiro.
I have read the interview Maia Usova gave to Moskovski
Komsomoletz on Januray 17, 1999. It was posted on fsworld in
"Fan-Chat; Maya Usova article" on January 23.In this
interview Maia tells the readers that Robert DeNiro himself fell
in love with you. Is that really true? How can Maia know?
Is she good friend with him so that he told her that?
And yesterday I read on fsworld in "Fan-Chat; Compassion for
Pasha" a posting from "Kittymama" which tries to
convince us that you yourself where "telling folks that
Robert DeNiro was madly in love with you"

Besides this personal things - please go on skating!

Dearest Pasha and family,
I just wanted to thank you again for everything you have done and
are doing for me. My life has been turned up side and down the
last couple of years and many times it has been difficult to keep
the fighting spirit, especially last year. But then all of a
sudden you came into my life. I
really needed someone who unconditionally loved and supported me.
I consider you my guardian angels sent to me by God.
As you know I'm still far from recovery right now, but as long as
I know you are at my side I will go on fighting.
I like to think that God has made me go through this for a
reason. If none of this had happened I would have never got to
know so many wonderful
people. I have become to see you all as a part of my family. My
parents are extremely grateful for what you have done for me.
Pasha, I will always love and support you no matter what happens.
You have a special place in my heart. You are a beautiful person
not only on the outside, but also especially on the inside. Keep
fighting, I know you will achieve everything you want.
Love&God Bless&Many kisses,

Olympics it was spelt one
way then since then it has changed! By the way why did you

March 3rd, 99 I am so happy to get your mail, it

saw the standing ovations after my performance, I was close to
crying from happiness. Of course I did all my best even some
jumps. You will be informed when it will be on TV.

Hi!
I wanted to write to you many times but I always thought ,
you must get so many letters what difference will mine do , so I
never wrote .
Now I read on FSWurld that you are feeling really sad and
that you need your fans to support you , so , this time , I
thought that maybe it
would be a good occasion because I am such a big fan .
Let me start by saying who am I . I'm a 20 year old girl
from Portugal and I became your fan when I first saw you in the
Euro94 , my admiration
for you was so big and it grew with time . Everytime I had
a tough time at school , in Gymnastics (I practice
mini-trampoline) or in life I thought about the strengh you had ,
to be hable to compete so well and give the world so many happy
momments .
God , I jumped on the sofa so many times when you wan or
just for any of your performances . And in the finals I was
always so nervous for you
I could feel butterflies in my stomach . All of this just to say
, you have given me , and so many other people , such wonderful
momments , I
certainly give you all my support in the good and the bad times .
You have the right to be sad . Go ahead and cry , but
always remember to lift your head in the end . You must believe
in your self and look
around for your true friends . As for the others , forget them .
I want to share something with you (that I never told
anyone) , I had a depression when I was just 13 (because of some
"friends" who weren't
really my friends), I know what it is to cry for hours , to feel
meiserable , see no future , and think that to end it all would
be a
solution . With me , after some monthes , I did a lot of thinking
, and I reached the conclusion that if I was going to do
something so radical
I should first try all my options , even the most crazy ones ,
building a new life from the beginning for instance .
Off course I didn't do anything like that because I was 13
but I did change friends (not easy , believe me). Those other
people became
indiferent to me , and ,some monthes after ,one of them (who had
been my best friend for years) came back (because the others had
donne the same to her). I could have said , go away , now you'll
be alone like I was , but I didn't , I said , sure you can be
with our group , no problem (off
course I never trusted her again) , that's when I realized that I
had "won" , because I had the power to do the same she
had donne to me but I
showed that I'm a better person than that.
All of this just to say to you that the unexpected happens
and that sadness doesn't last forever . Another advice is :
Hapiness is in the
small things in life , not necessarily in medals , interviews on
tv , Oscars , high life . Hapiness is : being yourself and
knowing that
others like who you are , having fun with friends , sharing your
feelings with others , travelling , jumping aroung when you hear
you
favourite music :-)
Please don't say you have no future . You have so many
possibilities , people at FSWurld have given many good ideas :
single skating ,
commentating , coaching ...
If you commentate for Eurosport I will be jumping on my sofa
again :).
Important : your image . The media hasn't donne you any
favours , but you must learn to deal with them . This is my omn
humble opinion , try
to give the image of a calm and sweet person , (maybe you should
just be your true self , I've heard that you're really sweet). I
think that the
"enfant terrible"(as you were called by the press)
clearly didn't work , because people endeed up thinking that you
were selfish and crazy , like
hollywood stars , most of the public doesn't like that , they
want their role models to be a bit more down to earth .(I did
like you stile better
before 98 , but that's just my opinion ).
It's not easy to get out of sadness , but I'll tell you
what helps : Did you know that both sunshine and physical
exercise activate a
substance in the brain that makes you feel happy ?! It's true , I
know that because I study Biology at University . So , even if
you don't feel
like it ,you should try it , L.A. is quite a sunny place , so go
for a walk .Don't isolate , call your friends .
I also think that you should stay out of the internet for
a while , people say such stupid things around here ! I'm sure
that it can influence your opinion of your self , but this people
don't even know you ,they just have too much free time , so
don't let that happen . Trust your self for what you are and what
your real friends think about you .
One other thing , if you think about changing something ,
why don't you come to Europe , people here love you and admire
you , even if they
didn't they wouldn't be so unpolite (to say the least) , as
Americans are , we in Europe have a bit more stile :-)
Now I'll say good-bye . I just want to say that , what ever
you do with your future my admiration won't end . I'm not the
kind of person that
wrights to stars or hunt for authographs but I do recognize
amazing sport and art when I see it .
I wish you all the luck in the world !!!
SMILE !!!

What a surprise it was for me to find your site on the web.
I thought your performance at the Nagano Olympics was orignial,
powerful and beautiful and I have a huge respect for your
talent. I have enjoyed browsing your site and hope
you will appreciate some candid advice.
Sometimes you have to "play the game". When you
just tell a story, trying to sound like an innocent victim (which
you may or may not be) you end up sounding defensive and
unbelievable. The fact is, it's really no ones
business. What happened happened a long time ago and it was
private and it's over. When your family prints that Zhulin
was a stalker, he lied and then he basically left you, I have to
wonder if he is such an ass, why are you partnered with him
now? Please don't misunderstand me, I am on your
side. I want you to continue skating in dance (or singles
if you have jumps) because I would love to watch you perform
live. However I think that it's a "cultural
thing" that your team just spews out sentences directly that
do not sound cohesive and end up sounding like they are trying to
make you out to be an innocent and no one will believe
that. To get in favor with the public again, you need to
stop skating to only suggestive sexy music (I know...bummer) and
take advantage of your powerful, dramatic side. I read your
story on Zhulin thinking, "I could write this so much
better, where sympathy would be on your side".
Americans have a way of playing the public and pulling the right
heartstrings. Look at Clinton!!! If you are
interested in having me rewrite this (Americanized) I would love
to!
Anyways, the reason I wanted to write is to ask for autographed
pictures for myself, and my boyfriends daughter Kimberly who is
also a big fan. If this is possible, could you please mail

Dear Pasha,
I have been a figure skating fan for a long
time and I just want to tell you that I think you're the best
female ice dancer in the world! Your
performances are always so exciting! My son is a big fan of
yours too. A couple of years ago we met you during the Tom
Collins Tour and I was really impressed with how you took time to
talk to us and all your fans. I know that you must have
been very tired after your performance so it was really kind of
you to stop for pictures and autographs. You are a very
caring person. I just read on your page
that you are going to be trying out single skating. Do you
have any performances lined up yet? I am really looking
forward to seeing you skate singles.
Sincerely,
Your Fan Suzanne
My dear friends, thank you so very much for all your wonderful e-mails
and e-cards! Dearest Anushka&Norbert, thank you very much for your great
website. Jim, you are one of my bigest friend and I am proud of you! Sharon,
glad to hear from you more.

Subject: Hello
Hello my dear friend. I got this address from Anushka and wanted
to see how you are doing. I wanted to know I miss your friendship
very much in Marlboro. You were the about the only one that had
anything to do with me. For this I wanted to get the chance to
thank you in person but I never had the chance. I hope you got
the card I sent to Germany. I wanted to make sure I rememberd
you. I also can only hope that you remember me as one of the good
memories of Marlboro. You know me, the funny, short, fat guy that
always wore the baseball cap that did not dress too well. I tried
real hard to make you laugh. I hope sometimes I was able to. I
wanted somehow to show you I was a real friend and
to make you somehow get away from the stress that must be at your
level. Really, I am not as dumb as I looked and acted. Your smile
made it worthwhile. I hope someday to make you laugh again. Of
course, always on purpose. But, you must remember that you did
much to make me happy. You always had time for me, even if I was
not rich, or could not even skate. You always respected me
because you new I worked hard for my daughter Suzanna to skate.
Drop me a line, send a picture and a hug sometime. You had my
address but if you lost it in the fire it is. Jim XXX. If you are
ever this way and want to talk my work number is (508)XXX. My
home number is XXX. Take good care of yourself and I wish you
love, success, and happiness always. Always your friend.

My name is Sharon and I am the same age as you, I have been an
ice dance fan since 1982 [I am British, so you don't need to ask
why!]
I am wondering really why I am writing this to you as there has
been SO much misinformation on the internet about you in the
past, I am
sceptical about whether you actually endorse this site or not. I
read on FSWurld, that you were feeling depressed, that is pretty
rough
for you, though you have had a bit of a nightmare time since
Nagano, I can see why....I have had bad times in my life in the
past, though they
were never played out in the public eye like your troubles. So
please know that I wish you all the best, I assume that we will
see
you at Worlds as a spectator? You looked GREAT at Europeans by
the way, my husband is a little bit in love with you.....it's
only fair!
Enjoy yourself Pasha..let go of the past, why not join a tour?
I'd love to see you skate with Candeloro!
Give my new favourite ice-dance team [it was always close!]
Annisinna and Peizerat a cheer from me in Helsinki and I hope to
see you on the TV
looking like a KNOCKOUT there! I was hoping to go myself,
but........stuff happens!
Best Wishes

We, Norbert and Anushka, have made a new Pasha site. Why?????????
Because we LOVE Pasha.
We started doing this three weeks ago it started out as a joke,
but it became more and more serious and this is the result:
http://members.tripod.com/pashasite/
We have had lots of fun making this page, we hope you will like
it, just take a look!
Norbert and Anushka.

Hi Pasha!
So glad I found your page! Found it on Skate
Web. I have many questions for you, but I know how busy you
must be. So I'll try to keep them
to a minimum. First off though, I want to say how much I
enjoy your skating. I also admire you very much. I know
first hand what it is like for people to judge you without
knowing who you are as a person, and merely listening to other
people's words. I congratulate you on still striving for
your dreams, no matter what people say. You will show them
all! :-)
Anyways, I wondered what you felt has been the greatest moment
in your skating career? Also, if there'd a favorite
song of yours that you haven't skated to yet, but would like to?
Well I've taken up enough of your time. I (like many
others!) would love an autographed picture, but again I know how
busy you must be. Just having you read this email is a
thrill to me. :-) Thank you for sharing your
incredible gifts with us, and I wish you all the success in the
world! Keep reaching for the stars, Pasha!

I guess Anuskha or Bernie gave you my e mail address. I thank
both of them because they know Pasha was a good friend in
Marlboro. Thanks very much for letting me know about the site. I
miss Pasha very much since she left Marlboro. I hope she got the
christmas card I sent to her
mother's house in Germany. May she have great success. I hope to
see her again some day if she skates in the Boston area.
Again. Thanks. Jim

Dear Pasha,
I read the message that Bernie posted from you on FSWurld and was
deeply saddened. I hope and pray that you feel better
soon. You may hear too many bad things from your
detractors, but that is because they are louder than your many,
many fans. I know from reading FSW that you have several
friends that would do anything for you and I hope you lean on
them at this time. Your message on the board said that you
wanted advice so I will give some:
1. Don't speak about your sadness to the press. They
will twist what you say to ridicule you.
2. Speak only positive things publicly about Usova, your
former partners, and their current partners and wives. I am
sure that this is very
difficult of some of them say negative things about you, but the
press wants a scapegoat in the whole mess and they are trying to
pin the blame
all on you. I don't know why they do this--perhaps you are
a less pitiful figure than others and they like to try and tear
down obviously strong
women. Anyway, if someone presses the issue about
Usova, say something along the lines of "I was young and
made a mistake and I regret that my actions hurt people. I
am happy to see that Usova and Platov are doing well"
and leave it at that. Your true fans know that other people
were as much or more at fault than you, but the press isn't going
to listen to that.
As far as your future goes, you can do anything you
want! You have proven time and again that you are strong,
determined, smart, and talented. If you follow your heart,
I am sure that you will be a success. For example:
1. You can skate with another partner. There must be
ice dancers all over the world that would die to have a chance to
skate with you!
2. You can skate as a single. You have such presence
on the ice that you would be fine by yourself. And if you
still have some jumps, you would be a hit! If you decide to
keep skating, your numerous fans will be absolutely delighted!
3. You can choreograph. I would love to see the
programs that you would create!
4. You can coach. And if you were to coach in
Southeast Virginia, I would be the first to sign up, though I
doubt a 26 year old beginner who isn't
naturally athletic (I'm an engineer) would be much fun for
you to coach. But I try!
5. You could work as a commentator.
6. You can do ANYTHING! I would be selfishly sad to
not see you skate, but if something else would make you happy, I
would be happy for you. And so would your other fans.
You are smart and still young, you can go to school here in the
US if you wanted and be anything you want to be.
Gosh, I realized when I said you are young, that you are 1 year
older than me and we ARE young. We can do anything we
want if we put our minds to it. Everything you said in your
message reminded me of things I have said at times and things
friends of mine have said. We have gotten through the tough
times by sticking by each other and boosting each other's
confidence.
We girls have to stick together!
I hope I could cheer you up a little. If I ever met you, I
would want to give you a big hug and let you know how wonderful
you are. If you ever
want to visit Southeast Virginia, I would do just that!
Sincerely,
Lisa

Dear Pasha,
I don't know if you'll remember me, but my husband and I were
introduced to you by Angela at the World Pros in Washington, DC.
We really appreciate it that you took the time to meet with us.
That was so sweet of you to come over to our table in the
nightclub. Getting to meet you was the highlight of our trip, and
something we'll never forget! We're really looking forward
to seeing your skating in the future, whether
it's with a partner or in singles.

Hi Pasha,
My name is Karen I am an adult skater. I am envious of your
back bending knee slide lunge in You'll see, I have nearly killed
myself
trying to copy it. I heard a rumor that you plan on skating
at my home rink Iceoplex in North Hills, (Ilia's rink) If that is
true, one day I
would love to go on the ice with you and have you show me that
lunge.... Is the rumor true????
Hoping so, Good luck with your single skating career, I think you
will
do great.

24.2.99 Thank you Liz, after the fruitless discussions on fsworld
from the past months I had been already waiting for this question.
I feel that cause and effect got mixed up in this story. I and Evgeny were always
friends, therefore we have done such a great success in our skating carrier.
So I am going to write down my version in my book. But I am not
going to make it an endless arguing also on this board.
No 16 - Date: Tue, 23 Feb 1999 23:57:09 -0800
Please help me understand what happened between you, Evgeny and Maya. How could
Maya does that to you, another skater? She knows exactly that it's unpossible
to make the other one couple the same level as you and Evgeny was. She knows
that her skating carrier is over and she can not skate any more. I think she
did it only from jealous. She wanted to brake up the best couple the world and
I am sure, she will leave Evgeny alone.

Congratulations on all of your successes!!!
I have recently become
a fan of your's and keep asking myself why I wasn't a fan
before. I have always followed Alexander Zhulin's
skating and since I saw the two of you skate at the Jefferson
Pilot Pro competition I am a huge fan! My favorite program
that you have done
with Alexander Zhulin is your Enigma program followed by
"Smooth Operator". Speaking of that, I have
read so many different reports on
whether or not Pasha & Sasha are still a team, please give me
an answer that I will totally believe. I don't know
what to believe.
How can I send
you a fan letter and possibly receive an autographed
picture back? Also, would you happen to know where I can
write Alexander Zhulin for an autograph? I hope that you
can send me an address or two.
By the way, I
found your webpage through Yahoo! and the SkateWeb
site. I wouldn't change anything about your site except to
add
more pictures of Pasha skating with both Evgeny and Sasha.
Please add my email address to your mailing list.
Congratulations and Thank You for making ice dancing
enjoyable...

I am an ice-dancer. I have learned this discipline all my
life. As you know my partner Evgeny Platov left me last year.
After that I was trying with Zhulin, but he couldn´t do his
training during the last two months because of his back problems.
But my life is on the ice. So I would like to try to open the new
discipline as ice-dancing single. We have to see if the audience
likes it.

Pasha,
Hello I wrote you a letter in the mail earlier, but it had to
travel clear to Germany, & I know you must have received tons
of mail after the Olympics
so I wanted to write you again when your new webpage came
up. I think you are an amazing dancer. I am from the
U.S. and I first really started to watch you & Evgeny skate
during the 1994 European Championships. I have cheered for
you ever since. You were always both so amazing.
After watching you, dance has become my favorite part of
figure skating. I really started to appreciate all of the
teams after following you in dance for a few years. I
think you have done a lot for the sport, and I will miss seeing
you at Worlds this year! Good luck in the future, and I
hope we will see a lot more of you on the ice. Oh, and tell
Snoopy & Vanya hello for me!
Thank you for all the wonderful programs, exciting competitions,
and special moments,
Anne

I just wanted to say hello and tell you that I support you 100%
in anything you decide to do with regards to skating!! :) I
love to watch you skate, and I am so bummed that you and Sasha
can't skate together anymore. :( I thought you guys were
hot when you skated to "Smooth Operator"....wow!
That is a great routine!!
I think you are wonderful. You admit when you make mistakes, but
you don't let your mistakes affect your professionalism or how
you treat your fans. I didn't get to see you backstage at
COI in Chicago, but I would have loved to have gotten your
autograph! I am a 37 year old mom in Georgia, who drove all the
way to Chicago to see you guys!! :) My mom thinks you are
so special, she loves your skating too, and my 42 year old
brother says you are "HOT!" HA HA HA!!
Just know that there are tons of American fans that love
you, and want to see YOU skate!!! Singles or dance, it
doesn't matter!! You go girl!! I will be one
rooting for you, whatever you choose to do!
If you could, I would LOVE an autographed photo of you,
Pasha!!! You are wonderful in how you care about your
fans!! We care about you too!!!
Thanks so much for all the skating enjoyment you have given
me!!!

them !
No 11 - Subject: Your possible singles career
Date: Sun, 21 Feb 1999 16:40:29 -0500
I was thinking that if you want to go the singles route there
is a piece of music that I think would be great to put an ice
skating routine to. It's by
No Doubt and is called "I'm just a Girl". I think that
it would suit your transition into singles well. Listen to the
lyrics, it's about a girl that is fed up being told that she
needs to have a man with her or by her side. The music is also
very fast and spunky and I can envision you in a cute outfit
skating to it. Maybe you can start out wearing a pink skirt with
a ribbon in your hair (if you listen to some of the first lyrics
- she rips the ribbon off her eyes in the beginning) - then maybe
you can throw the skirt off and have hot pink shorts on
underneath. Anyway I think that you should really look into it,
I'd love to see you do it. You are my favorite skater, my kitty
is even named Pasha!!!
Kisses,
Praxilla

Congrats on finally getting your own official webpage, it looks
like your webmasters are doing a GREAT job!! I was so
impressed by your "Frozen" program on tour last year, I
went right out and bought the CD!! I don't think it matters who
you skate with, you will ALWAYS be the greatest Ice Dancer in the
history of skating, and I can't wait to see you perform again!!!
I had sent you a couple fan letters previously, requesting an
autographed picture, but never received a reply - is there any
way that I could receive a personally autographed picture
please? My name & address is:

Dear Pasha,
Hi. My name is Carianna. I got your email address
off of your webpage. I hope you don't mind. I just wanted
to write and tell you some things.
First of all I think you are SO talented and just a
mesmerizing person to watch on the ice. You are beautiful
and so is your skating.
I have heard that you might not skate with Sasha anymore. I
just want to tell you PLEASE don't quit skating altogether.
You are such an inspiration to me when I see how you have had
hard times and overcome them.
I would not even want to be a fan of figure skating anymore it
you weren't involved.
I have heard that you were thinking of becoming a singles skater
I think that is a good idea.
I know you could succeed at anything you put your mind to because
you are a strong and talented person and a hard worker.
Secondly, I have never had the pleasure of meeting you but I
have heard so many stories about how kind you are.
I just want to say that I think it is terrible how the media has
given you a bad image.
I have written letters to some of the broadcasting companies
about this. Especially about at World Pros. That was
uncalled for.
Please don't pay any attention to those people they don't know
anything about you obviously.
I think you are a great kind person and if anyone says otherwise
I refuse to listen to them.
In closing I would like to say that I very much admire you and
I consider you a role model for myself.
Please keep skating and don't ever let things people say about
you get you down.
They are only saying such things because they are jealous of you.
If you don't write back I will understand because I am sure
you are very busy.
Good luck Pasha and keep your chin up!
Your devoted fan
Carianna

I

Keep up the great work and hope to hear from you.

I don't know if the rumors are true, but I have heard that the
partnership
with Sasha Zhulin is uncertain due to his back problems. I
hope that his
health improves or, if it doesn't, that you find a wonderful new
partner or
skate on your own! Ice dance judging confuses me and I
admit that I don't
watch very much of it, but I always watch when you skate because
your
performances are so enjoyable. I look forward to watching
your next
skating adventure and hope someday to see you perform live!
Good luck,

Dear Pasha,
Hi, my name is Satomi. I'm a 23-year-old Japanese girl
studying in a
college in Mansfield, Pennsylvania.
I've been your ardent fan since I watched your
"Arabian Passion" on TV.
It was Japan Open, I think. You were on the beautiful blue
outfit, and
skated so good. A friend of mine says she likes red one better,
and it
might fit in with you better because red is the color of
passion, your
nature. Wow, sounds like a guy is writing to you. But I'm a girl.
; ) I
like blue one better just because it made your performance look
slicker
and quicker. This is my best dance so far. (I like your tango as
well)
I used to like pair skating better, but now I love ice
dancing best
because of your fantastic skating.
I saw your web site some time ago. I like it! A friend
of mine in Japan
told me about your pages. Her name's Yuko. You know her, don't
you? I hear you told her you've got your web site by e-mail. She
and I
were planning to give you a present at Japan Open, but you
couldn't make
it. When will you skate in public again? Is Sasha all right?
It's just like you that you don't tell your ranks of the
competitions
you didn't get gold medal in the biography page. If you put the
ranks,
we can trace your records and see how you and Evgeny improved
your
skatings year after year....but it's OK. I like your way.
In speaking of your biography, when will you publish
"Pasha with Love"?
I'm dying of reading it!
Well, I have to go to class. I'm studying computer science in
college.
The classes are very hard for me, because I have difficulty
hearing
English. (I guess you went through the same thing.) I'm under
pressure...but when I watch the excellent performances by my
favorite
skaters, particulary you, you make my day. I hope I will watch
your
dance soon.
Thanks for reading my long letter. I'm looking forward to hear
from you
soon.
Sincerely,
Satomi
