Hello everybody, I want to say that I find this page extremely interesting (a specially discussion boards). I've never known much about ice-dancers and I loved getting a little taste of what you've experienced. I skate, but only skate. It has always been a dream of mine to figure skate but I never had access to or the competitiveness to do it. I am a huge fan and I make every effort possible not to miss anything that's on tv or in my area. I have so much I want to ask about the sport and the experience. I admire skaters above any other sport and am in awe of the grace, beauty and power that comes from a 1/8th inch steel blade and the passions of the person who manipulates them on the ice. What got you into ice dancing exactly? On your own time, do you or did you ever do jumps? I always wonder that because ice dancers don't do jumps. They’re dancing, displayed absolute perfection, elegance, and passion on the ice... Now I am Pasha fan. I hope and pray that Pasha has good friends and strong spirits to get them through all difficulty. Thanks for sharing some of your life with me. It's something I'll never get the chance to feel. Childhood is a treasure and a right. But in all over many countries, childhood is under siege. Young people living in poverty are assaulted daily by forces that wrest from them all innocence and pleasure. Drugs, disease, violence, homelessness, poor education and systems that routinely fail them and their families have permanent and severe repercussions, not only for poor children and those who care about them, but for this city and this nation. Children suffer first and most severely from each ill that threatens every individual. For example, in New York City almost half of children live below the poverty line, one in every thirty is exposed to drugs before birth, and the babies of the poor are regularly relegated to nameless mass graves in Potter's Field. It’s a great that Pasha sees these painful realities as a call to action on behalf of most vulnerable, most voiceless, most valuable citizens. Thanks for Pasha for being such a great person! Pasha Grishuk has an upcoming skating event, "Beverly Hills on Ice, a Winter Wonderland" show to be held November 19th. She will star, skate and be an associate producer of the show. Other Olympic skaters invited to participate by Pasha for her Beverly Hills show include Ilia Kulik, Surya Bonaly and Lu Chen. Surya Bonaly is confirmed at press-time according to her agent, Jay Ward but Kulik and Chen are still pending. Current plans call for a rink to be set up on Rodeo Drive, and this famous street to be closed for this skating event. "I am really excited to be skating again," said Grishuk. This production is being produced by BBM-TV along with Pasha's own company, "Angels on Ice,Inc. for cable TV broadcast and video sales. Grishuk had the opportunity to share her plans publicly while attending a reception sponsored by Disson, Furst and Partners on August 31 at Asia de Cuba in Beverly Hills with others in the sports or business entertainment fields. Other Grishuk projects under development include a skating show in Biloxi, Mississippi using music from the Nutcraker Ballet (RBOI !!!) and a show in Mexico called, "Magic on Ice". She certainly must be considered for more of these roles and proved she should be seriously considered for love commentary on a major network. The production itself was of the highest caliber. The skating, costumes, choreography and music were top notch and the producers of the show did an excellant job. They portrayed the wonderful fairy tale as well as I have ever seen it done. Of course for me though, the highlight of the show was the film of Pasha and Evgeny skating Memorial. This was their gold medal performance at the Olympics and was a very fitting finish to the tape. It is a must order for all. Plus, my money went to a good charitable cause. I suggest you buy it as soon as possible. It is fit for all ages and a wonderful addition to any tape library. --

Our Pashenka was in a Los Angeles film studio last few weeks narrating and commentating on a pre-made skating show that will be shown on National TV in Oct. - 'Sleeping Beauty on Ice'. She has another commentating job on another ice show titled 'Superstars on Ice', then will be starring/skating in her own show (title for now) 'Beverly Hills on Ice' in December. Current plans call for a new ice show to be produced every 90 days!

Dear Pasha & friend's, Just wanted to say hi & see what is up with everyone in Pasha land! On Tusday evening,Amara went to club at aur rink & was on the Ice nomore them 15 min's and she fell on the ice .It was just a silly little fall & when she got up she kept grabbing at her legg and she kept trying to skate,well come to find out after I tock a look at her legg,to see if she was okay (because she kept grabbing at her legg)There was a grate big hole in her legg! the back of her blade puncherd the inside of her knee (lower thigh)I tock her to emergncy room and they said it was very deep and she would get 10 stictes! Im sad for my daughter she was very scared! Her coach has not called to see if she is Okay or to see if needed to talk! NOTHING! her coach has dun nothing!This just show's me just how much Amara's coach feel's about my daughter!I have had this feeling for quite sometime now and this shows me,that what ive been feeling is real and not my mind playing tricks on me.Amara has asked me "Mama why anna has not called me ,is she mad at me for getting my legg hurt "? what do I say to my daughter,the docter will look at her legg in 3 days and let me know how she is doing and she also has a competition on the 18th , 19th , &20th! so we will see how things go, just thought I would share my thoughts with my friend's out there in Pasha Land! Dear Jim, I totally agree with you about having Pasha comment at dance competitions. It would have been a pleasure to hear her takes on the dancers at Worlds. Perhaps next time. Missing Pasha at Worlds!!!!!!!! I really missed Pasha not being at the worlds. With the small difference in victory in ice-dance the knowledge of the sport could have been a great asset to the TV networks who will carry the compitition on TV. I hope the wake up and invite her to commentate during the Olympics.

First the speed became much higher, the edge much deeper, more athletics elements – in one word, the ice-dancing becomes more as a sport discipline than just a ball dancing. The tendency goes to created pairs and dancers as a one discipline, I think. Who could send us report about World? What new about Dmitri Palamarchuk?
